Why no-one except an invalid should want a job

Hey all you people. Hey all you people. Hey all you people won't you listen to meeeeeeeee!

You have gotta try this sandwich, cause it's no ordinary sandwich, but that one filled with delicious jellyfish jellyyyyy

Ok but seriously, do you have a job? like a job that requires, or more like expects you to be there everyday for the rest of time? a job that you could do everyday until you died. then the day after they would have someone in your place doing the exact same thing you had been doing for the past 40 years you fat slob.

lol JK, heres the point: we are used as flesh machines. humans are so fucking good at things. The tasks that at least i have so far in all my jobs are accomplishable by literally anyone off the street. This always pisses me off. No matter how long i stay somewhere there is pretty much nothing i am doing that someone else off the street isn't eligible to do.

So whats really wrong with that, you just do some simple task all day and get paid. it really doesn't matter what you do as long as you get paid. paid with the fucking paper rectangles we all know and love. But what did you do to earn them? you did your job, did you do it good? dose anyone even check? your output at work is not proportionate to the actual work being done is it!? You have some slow days you have some hard days. Both pay the same. if you are sick on an easy day and show up barley standing on a hard day then you can't say anything about it.

But i love my coworkers! i've known them for years and some are like family. well isn't that fucking great. what real loyalty do you have to these people? All the friends i've made at jobs have been the coolest people from the bunch. But no where near the crop i would like to be spending my days with. Not bad people, just not my type of people.

My boss is a good boss, he's nice and always gives me reasonably what i want, whats the problem? I give my dog almost everything it wants, but guess what, she has to ask every-time she needs to pee: like a preschooler. Your boss is 99 percent probably not even your real boss but he or she probably has a boss above them so it is almost like you are on the bottom of a pyramid. What dose the bottom of a pyramid do? keeps the entire thing up but most of it goes unseen.

It all comes down to TIME really. You are getting paid for simply your time. not your work but your time. Your work is what you do to feel satisfied, your time is what the company needs to be satisfied. See all they really care about is the anticipated results of something. You are just a piece of that and they calculate your output based on the amount of time you have worked and are expected to work, they pay you accordingly. If you are not calculable to them, like you screw around a lot, you get fired. not even because your boss has a problem with you, just because you are not behaving like everyone else.

There is a grand-canyon-Kylie-Jenner-asshole sized gap in between being fired and being proficient. You can be really good, you can be really bad, the scale is determined by what goes before you got there, so it is the classic monkeys in a cage with the banana on a latter and the sprinklers senerio. "thats how we've always done it" is usually in full motherfucking effect.

So every person who starts is forced to completely abandon any preconceptions about the actual WORK. instead they must fall in line with every other interchangeable person around them. Communism to the nth degree i tell you.

Fuck that, lets just take a deep breath and remember that freedom is something we all have a right to grab and rip from our oppressors.

Freedom to work on what you want, freedom to be sick and not have to fucking call someone. you know why salaried positions give you sick days? BECASUE YOU'RE SO FAR IN DEPT YOU CAN"T FUCKING QUIT CAN YOU. You are a fucking fully featured human being who knows that they are capable of fucking huge accomplishments if they are motivated to be.

So NEVER again lie to yourself and make your bosses goal or absolutely anyone else's your own unless it is going to be personally satisfying and developmental.

Stop giving out your energy like its free or something.

The lure to a job is the simplicity, you just show up, do your shit, go home. Ta dah you have a boring life in 3 commas. Fucking really? thats what you think you can do? just show up to the same place every day for years to do the same tasks over and over.

The real muddy boot too the groin is that you probably don't care about the actual goal of your job. So lets say you work at McDonalds, you like what that food dose for people? you really like serving that garbage to innocent rushed commuters and children? You work at target, do you really like being in a store full of Chinese crap that keeps people coming back as often as possible? do you really love all the money that these products are making for the variable salaried CEOS and black suits that will never thank you in a million years.

Fuck all that man.

I have a job today but soon i hope to not.

Oh yeah and college is the 40 hour in hell a week reinforcement trap. i would rather fight a fucking dragon then end up with my hand cuffed to a fucking loan for 4 years of complete and total bullshit.

Salty's peacein
