This is my response to @rachelhanson's #promptparty prompt: time.
I'm laughing pretty hard right now because I started this post with 10 minutes before I have to fly out the door to pick up my kids from their school, attend a meeting, get them home, oops I forgot to prep dinner and teach a class. Umm, where did my day go?
I feel like I had this plan and it was the bomb but then it went off the rails and I'm still trying to put the brakes on this train when really I should, you know, go get in my car. So, instead, here are a few observations about how time waits for no woman.
I put a load in my washing machine a couple days ago and started the cycle. It ran. The wet clothes are still in there.
I have to leave by 7:37 AM or my kids will not be to school on time. Inevitably, we leave at 7:38.
I can't remember my own age. I have to ask my husband. I stopped counting at 30. Pretty sure I'm 35.
Registration for anything is a nightmare. Get it done by a certain date? Fat chance. Just remembered I was supposed to send a Girl Scout email. Last week. Oh well.
No matter how long I wait after applying nail polish, it never dries. Is this time or something else?
How does time work for you?

Oh my goodness, I feel this so hard. Especially about the nail polish! It is a phenomenon I do not understand.
Sometimes it glops like a day later. What's that about?
Right!? That's why I love nail wraps - once they're on they're on and there isn't any wrinkling or little nicks out or anything.
Feeling all of this, obviously. Don't forget to breathe!
Being a grown up is hard!
This is me. Totally. And my "time" lol!
Oh my. This is me as well even without kids. It's like where does the time go? Why are we getting short on time now that we're older?
I'd like to order one of those Hermione time locket thingy pls. 😂
YES! Although she seemed really tired when she used it, didn’t she? Maybe we beed a TARDIS, but then we’d be crossing our own time stream...
Oh yeah, she'd be using up her time to do more things but still get too tired at the end of the day. Hmmm. I didn't think of that. I take it back!
I'd like to learn Naruto's Kagebunshin technique instead as i don't watch that TV series with Tardis in it. Lol.
