"Nothing in nature lives for itself. Rivers don´t drink their own water. Trees don´t eat their own fruit. The sun doesn´t shine for itself. A flower´s fragrance is not for herself. Living for each other is the rule of nature!" - Daily Vibes
I am always asking myself how people came up with certain inventions. There are so many myths about what happened in human history but I still haven´t found the right answer for myself. In the course of the millennium people have invented a lot but it´s surprising that most of our inventions aren´t very unique because they already exist in nature long time before people published their own concoction. Sometimes the natural version is even more sophisticated than that created by human hands...
But anyway, I found some very interesting stuff that I wanted to share on my blog...
The Velcro Fastener
The Swiss engineer, George de Mestral, observed that the fruits of the Great Burdock (Arctium lappa) clung to his dog's trousers and fur. On closer inspection, he discovered that the spines of the seeds at their tip have tiny elastic hooks and it took more than a decade until he could imitate the nature perfectly.

Sonar
After the titanic had sunk in 1912, scientists were increasingly working on technologies to locate objects under water. The French physicist Paul Langevin developed a system that is used to locate objects under the water by means of sound impulses and their echoes. Today known as Sonar. For humans, this technology is still relatively young, but animals have always used echolocation to navigate.

Suction Cups
Suction cups can be perfectly attached to smooth surfaces. The first patent for a vacuum cup was established in the 1860s. But the suction cups at the tentacles of an octopus are way more advanced than the version of the humans.

The high-speed train Shinkansen
The first versions of the Japanese train had a few problems...
When leaving a tunnel they caused a loud thunder. The engineer Eiji Nakatsu was at the same time a passionate bird watcher and he noted that he could transfer the structure of the kingfisher's beak to the train to solve the problem.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I think it´s crazy how advanced the nature really is and we still haven´t discovered everything yet. I wanted to divide the article into different parts because humanity has invented a lot which is inspired by nature. The crazy thing about this whole thing is that I always feel inspired by nature, every day just like I wrote in my inspiration post. I have never thought about people getting inspired from nature to create amazing inventions.
I live by the opinion that animals or nature in general give us so much in order to have a greater life but we are using them as slaves or even as food. I am not a vegetarian myself but I hate the way how people are treating the creatures of life. We should start to live a life together without mistreat the beings that help us to exist. Of course this includes plants as well! We are a part of nature so this quote belongs to the humanity as well - Living for each other is the rule of nature.
Biomimicry
Taking inspiration from nature to solve human problems is the idea behind "biomimicry," or "biomimetics." Over time, evolution has led to some incredible developments, from the photosynthetic machinery in plants to the human eye. Taking a leaf out of nature's book, scientists have developed technologies that seek to mimic some of life's unique innovations.
Thanks for joining me today
Stay focused
Love, Soldier
I am fairly certain the compounds to cure just about every disease/condition ailing humanity is out there somewhere. But with the destruction of the rain forests, maybe we'll never get to these wondrous chemical cocktails mother nature has left for us!
An excellent post, all inventions of mankind were taken from observations of nature and living beings and you showed us now this. For example, biologists have studied the principle of the device eye fly, and engineers have created a new device. It was called "The Eye of a Fly". With its help in the navigation services and airports determine the speed of flight of modern airliners. Thank you @soldier
I have heard of it! Thanks for sharing
To you, too, thank you very much for sharing such a great article, because this is a very interesting topic for discussion!
Very interesting article. Cognitive.
Here is one more invention.
Current drilling machines are an increased mechanical copy of earthworms. Just like them, drilling machines "eat" the earth (and release it through the back), continuously moving forward, leaving a large tunnel behind them.
Didnt know about this one! Thanks for sharing, appreciate it
Today you are inspired, I love your post. Thanks for sharing @soldier!!!
Glad you enjoyed the article :)
Inventions inspired by nature are interesting. I didn't know about it thanks for sharing.
Glad you like it!
Nature is a great teacher. Thanks for sharing the inventions.
It truly is!
This is really unique , nature has inspirations not only on us but everything around us. So much positive vibes
So true darling!
Thanks for this, learnt something new today and i'm so glad i did...The part that the first version of a japanese plan had a few problems,i also agreed to your "opinion that nature and animals gives us so much in other to have a greater life"but if there's something we could do now in other to stop using them as food that would have been nice but believe me it has been part of us all not living by the rules which you stated..Once again thanks for sharing!!!
Yeah agree with that! Glad you like it
Very interesting soldier i really liked The Velcro Fastener, i didn't know it
Crazy right?
I didn't know about train and velcro, it really surprised me, thanks!
Everyday i discover new things, i really like it ;)
Its crazy, so many inventions were inspired by nature...
the nature works perfectly, so why not to copy the perfection?
Nice post.
thanks!
wow....am amazed...this is just so awesome
I never knew any of these before....i guess its time i get creative with things around me😀
You should! I will do a second post about soon so stay tuned!
Haha...i cant wait
In a few hours right
Beautiful post, we, the social animals are responsible for the destruction of this beautiful world, making millions of beautiful animals homeless by cutting trees, killing them and going exactly in the opposite direction. I would say no to technology if it costs us killing animals and cutting forests.
True! I agree with that... We should find a different way
Rivers don´t drink their own water
this line touched my heart....
This quote is great
impotence with the perfection of nature.
that was an interesting read @ soldier
thanks for the share post
Wow
Beautiful nature and beautiful natural beauty..upvoted thanks for sharing
Nature is absolutely amazing and it is the best teacher.
Upvoted and also resteemed :]
Great
Velcro helped me more times I can count. Funny how I found your post in hot tab. You should be there every day!
I liked the idea of having your picture in my post so I advertised you in my last beer tasting! I hope it gets you more clicks and upvotes! Cheers!
Nature is base for everything developed so far. Actually nothing new... just think how ingenius a couple of cells are.... will be a human.....
Indeed we should treat nature more respectfully... And in the end we only have ourselves with it, the world will recover. But we have to live in this place right now.
Interesting and inspiring. It also touches on the topic of 'creativity'. Original ideas are always based on something preexisting. It's the process of 'mixing and matching' that facilitates new inventions and ideas. Thanks for sharing!
Great to see you sharing your appreciation of Mother Nature and how we can work with her. Many people need reintroducing to her wonders.. )) Great Pics as well.
Another great article and new information for me. I am such a Velcro fan that I was very interested in who created it and his inspiration for doing so.

This is an interesting article. thank you for sharing. upvoted and resteem.
Wow this is beautiful and touched my heart.
I wish everyone knows this, so indescribable how we have used inventions inspired by nature to destroy nature itself. Causing millions of extinctions by ways of exploitation and desrespect for nature.
Thank you Soldier darling
That was one of the best article i read today thanks for it nature inspire us all :)
Wow! Nice bird & fish
all looking good there..........///////
