Time, where are you running so fast?

in #life7 years ago

Today I thought about time. This is a very interesting unit of measure. For those, who wait, time goes very slowly, and vice versa, for those, who are in a hurry, time runs rapidly. There is such saying - there is nothing worse, than to wait and catch up. It's the truth. When we work, often working day drags long, but a weekend fly by as one moment. When you arrive on vacation, the first days are very busy, you think, that there is still a lot of time ahead. And then once - and there comes the middle of vacation, and then you suddenly realize, that you have tomorrow to fly home. And so our life goes. As a child, we do not feel the flow of time, we want to grow up soon, soon become an adult, we hurry time. Then we go to school, enter the institute and often want to return to a carefree childhood, where there were no problems, duties. But time can not be reversed. You have grown up. Do you accept the new reality, but life does not wait, time is rushing on. You get a job, you have a family, and life becomes a vicious circle, like Groundhog day. you don't notice how the work week goes, what can we say about the weekend. You run, in a hurry one day and suddenly stop and look back. And suddenly you realize, how much time you've already spent in this world. You know, recently at the hospital, a doctor asked me, how old I am. I opened my mouth to answer and shut upSo, wait, perhaps all 27, although there is no 28, Yes accurately. So, wait, perhaps all -??? 27, although there is no 28, Yes accurately. And I sit and think, I am 28 years old? I recently was 20, maybe it's some kind of mistake? But no, there's no mistake. What am I talking about? Let's not rush the time.

I wonder if it's the time who's running so fast or it's we who's just too slow. Hmm I really wonder.

I wonder too)

Yes, there's nothing we can do to slow down time, but I think we can do a few things to maximize the amount that we appreciate time. Being present in every moment and being grateful for what we have lets us experience moments more deeply.

I agree with you 100%! Thanks for comment)

That's well said , instead of rushing out in our while let's play it calmly . We all do know it's our only life and we should savor the happiness in every fleck of time .
When I checked age of my blog in steemit , it showed me two months . I really wondered what have I done in these 60 days ?

The numbers always reflect reality and sobering us up)

Ciertamente.
Saludos

You are so correct. I find now that I am an old lady, time seems to move even faster. I love your image of the watch/clock running through the hands. Excellent depiction of your post.
