Our Success Is Good For God

Here’s a principle. The success of a product protects the reputation or the name of the manufacturer. A product carries with it the entire credibility of the manufacturer. Every product before it leaves the factory the last thing they put on is their name. Like Apple or Nike. Every product carries the company‘s name. Name in Hebrew means Being. The name of the thing is the thing. For example, I am that I am. (Exodus 3:14) A name is not a label, in Hebrew. Name is the character. That’s why God told Moses His Name, I am whatever I am at that time. This is in Hebrew. If we translate this in English, it doesn’t make sense.

God’s name, it depends at that time. His name is I AM and we filled in the blank at that time. For example, if you need peace, you call Jehovah Shalom (Peace). So, God becomes whatever we needed Him at that time. When you’re sick you don’t need money (Jehovah Jireh, Provider), you need healing (Jehovah Rapha, Healer).

That same God (Jesus), became flesh and dwelt among us. He is called Yeshua means Joshua or Savior. His name depends on what we need. Like on Sunday, we need the water of life, to refresh and replenish us. On Monday, we need strength, we call on God Omnipotent, all-powerful. On Tuesday, we need wisdom (understanding), we call on God Omniscient, all-knowing. On Wednesday, we need His Presence, we call on God Omnipresent, present everywhere. On Thursday, we need God’s Love, to warm and comfort us. On Friday, we need to prevail over our enemy, we call on Jehovah Nissi, our Banner or Victory. On Saturday, we need rest, we call on the God of Rest. Jesus became everything, depending on what we needed. That’s the reason in the New Testament, His Names was the way, the truth, the life, the light, the love, the bread, the water, etc.

When we put our name on something, we are putting our Being (character) on something. Also, in Hebrew, Name means Image. For example, Calvin Klein is an image. When God was in His factory producing us in Genesis, the Bible says, “Let us produce a product, which is man species (spiritual being) in our own image.” (Genesis 1:26) No angels were made in the image of God. So, when the Angels (Michael or Gabriel) see us, they see the very Image (Characteristics or Being) of God in us. The Being of God. And His likeness is to function like Him. He made us in His likeness because God never fails. God cannot afford for us to fail because His Name or Reputation is on the line.

When a manufacture includes a warranty and guarantee with their product, it indicates their dedication to the product (we). They even went as far as warning us, “To not attempt to fix it yourself.” No product should try to fix itself and no customer (other) should fix another man’s product. Their name is tied to their success because the company is only interested in its name. Their entire reputation is in their name. The reason manufacturers request that we return the product at any cost is that the success of the product is more important than the cost. To restore a product (we) there’s no expenses spared because their image or name is on it. You ever hear this, “The company has a bad image.” That means their character is in trouble.

Therefore, our success is good for God! For His namesake or His reputation. He died on the cross and rose again, to protect His own name. He gave us His Holy Spirit, to protect His own name. He lives with us daily through the Holy Spirit, to protect His own name. That’s why He wants us to follow His laws or principles, to protect His own name. He wants us to be righteous, to protect His own name because His name is on the line, when we fail. God is committed to our success. Our success is good for God. God bless you!
