I think she trying to dictate the spiritual path of others around her is definitely not the way to go, as it implies fixing everyone into your "box" because you think that's the only way to grow spiritually. I think developing a spiritual ego isn't uncommon on a spiritual path but one should not let it influence what they say or do. I hope she comes to her senses too and move past this irrational behaviour.
