All challenges in life have a direct impact in defining the path that we’re going to take. We all face minor and major challenges in life. At the same time, we are in control on how we see these challenges. Our actions and how we handle these challenges defines our physical and even mental well being, as it may drain us, kill us with guilt and even drown us with panic attacks. The pressure that comes with it could break us. So you see, these challenges could really affect us so badly.

If only we could have an assurance that tomorrow would be better and that there are way better plans ahead of us, then facing these challenges would be much easier. So instead of waiting for that assurance, why not take an action and turn it to something?
I think the first thing to do is to identify whether the challenge is in your control or beyond your control.
For the challenges that are beyond your control, learn to accept that you can do nothing about it. So instead of complaining, focus on the others which you know you can still act upon.
If things are still in your control, then you can apply the following steps.
- Make a list on how the crisis affects your life. For example, you are struggling financially. one of the effects would be, you won’t be able to afford a meal in a restaurant.
- From that list, write down the opportunities inherent in each crisis. So from the example above, the opportunity is to learn to cook a decent meal and spend dinner at home. So instead of splurging money in fancy restaurants, which you can’t afford - you can just check out recipes and learn to cook. In that way, you’d be able to spend less and have an additional skill which is cooking. Plus you get the bonus of spending intimate time with your loved ones and friends.

This is exactly how deal with my worries! I worked it out a while ago - there is no point in worrying about stuff that you can't affect - it just drives a person mad. And rather than worry about the things you can affect, go and do something about them!
Yes, exactly! If things are out of your control then be it. Deal with other matters that you can act on.
