WHAT IS A LIE?

A lie is a statement used intentionally for the purpose of deception. The practice of communicating lies is called lying, and a person who communicates a lie may be termed a liar.

I know by now you will be wondering what I really mean by the best way of telling a lie.
Well, the gospel truth is there is no best way of telling lies without truth catching up with you later, and that experience is dreadful.

PERSONAL EXPERIENCE

Just like the BIBLE the word of god said NOTHING IS HIDDEN UNDER THE SUN, you shall do something in the darkest room, but it shall be exposed on the rooftop. I would love to share some EXPERIENCES that made know that the best way to tell a lie and be free is to just say the truth.

As a teenager, the need for money has increased, I needed money either to buy clothing, snacks when am out with friends, savings and other things, wasn't doing anything to get money, was just depending on parents to give me the few money they give me, and what irritates. What irritates the most was before they can give you anymore you have to explain in full detail what you will do with the money, and sometimes after explanation, they end up not giving you. The need for money kept on increasing and this led me into taking money unauthorized (stealing from my parents), yea, I turned a bad kid, only those that have been on my shoe will understand what I really passed through then.

My parents kept on noticing that their money was missing but their trust and love on me made them not suspect me.
As time passed by, I graduated from taking small money to stealing amount from their account for data subscription and making of calls

Now here is here is the part i want to focus on. I kept on doing this , when the bank sends alert i deletes the mesage thinking everyhting is hidden and no one will findout out, yea i thought like that becaus i was still a kid, i never knew that their was a thing like STATEMENT OF ACCOUNT. Oh, how stupid i was then, i keept withdrawing from their phone, making flambouyant calls, dashing out airtime and forming big boy which i wasn't.

One day, daddy went to the ATM to withdraw some money, after withdrawal, he checked his phone for alert and unfortuantely what he saw made him angry, he noticed that More than 20,000 NAIRA WAS MISSING IN HIS ACCOUNT. At first he thought it was the bank so he questioned them , for the bank to prove their innocence they provided the statement of the account. Lo and Behold, the sin I thought were hidden has been revealed.

Dad saw a strange number which has been withdrawing his money as airtime, he called it a strange number because he didn't know that was my number. When he came back that day he asked me if I had been tampering with his account, I lied, not knowing everything will be exposed.

To cut the whole story short, dad wanted to involve the police before mum suggested that they call the number first to know who has the number. LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, immediately he dialled the number the phone rang in my pocket. I received the worst beating ever.

This event made me understand that:

• Nothing in this life is hidden, the more you try to hid the evils youe done, the more it bursts open at the other end.
• The repercussions os lying is deadlier than poison
• Truths never hurts unless yuo havent made it a habit
• Stay away from evil and you wont see any need to lie, ordefend yourself through lying

AMAZING FACTS ABOUT LIES

• You can't tell somebody is lying from their eyes

Shifty eyes have nothing to do with whether or not a person is lying

• Nobody has ever found a lie detector that works

• Liars often fool themselves, too

• People usually lie when they are pressed for time

Lies are not usually premeditated acts of evil. The reality is that most people lie because they have to make a quick decision and don't have time to think about the social consequences of a falsehood.

• Americans lie at least once a day — and believe they get away with it most of the time.

• "Truth serum" does not actually prevent you from lying
