Reasons Why I Want to Blog

in #life7 years ago

During my spare time I keep my self-busy with activities that promote self-improvement, that’s one of the reasons why I have a keen interest on blogging. Good thing I stumble across #Steemit, it makes a perfect home for my passion.

So here are the other Reasons Why I want to Blog..

1. Improve my writing skills. Write like it’s your job.  If you want to get better at something, you have to practice. Writing on a regular basis will not only diminish your fear of the blank page or blinking cursor, it will also help you develop a unique style.

 2. Help Others. It is not about being a social servant but helping others will always make you a better person. Many blogs are written to help people who may be going through similar situations that the blogger has experienced.

3. Promote self-awareness. Understanding the strength and weaknesses of a person is the biggest challenge and no one can do it better than the person himself. Understand them and then in the course of time make changes that suit you.

 4. To become more confident. Hiding from the challenges and running away from your fears is never an option. You need to be able to face the fear and stand up to the new challenges. Be more confident of being known.

5. Meet new people. It helps you to interact with a variety of new people from around the globe wither via emails or any other social media platform you will be astonished by the fact that how quickly it helps you in meeting people online.

6. Become a better thinker. You will start thinking more intentionally about whom you are and whether you like what you see and this just might be a reason to get started. The art of blogging encourages you to stop and think deeper.

7. Live a more intentional life. Blogging not only changes the life of the blogger himself, As blogs are free for its audience and for the public to see it’s like a social act of giving your services for the world to view on which you have invested a lot of time and energy, many people find blogs as a source of inspiration and that feeling makes your inner contended.

8.  To make some money. The nice thing about blogging is that you don’t have to make money to love it. Sometimes making money from your blog can actually start to distract you from the joy that you found in the first place.

9.   To keep a Journal. Some of the most influential people in history kept detailed journals of their lives. Keeping a journal has great benefits you can enjoy immediately it is a great way to stay paying closer attention to yourself.
