Today I want to tell you about the first acquaintance with a girl who became my best friend. I can call her a sister in spirit.
Her name is Ilona. We met in one application where you can find new acquaintances in any country. When the depression began to recede, art began to heal me, and new plans appeared in my head. I decided to find new acquaintances outside of Warstein. I really wanted to find someone with whom I could travel around the cities, learn something new, and I really wanted this person to be close to me in spirit.

And so the app showed me that 100 km away from me is the same creative girl as me. Her profile didn't say anything about it, but I felt it right away.
We immediately wrote off and started communicating. It turned out that she was a graphic designer and I was an illustrator. Less than a couple of days later, she offered to come to her for the weekend. By the way, she lived in Soest. This is the city where I did some paperwork, I've been there 2 times, but on business and not for long, I've never walked around it.
I immediately agreed and so for the weekend I took the bus and an hour's drive was waiting for me before the first meeting. We agreed that Ilona would meet me at the train station.

This is a joint photo from another trip, I will also tell you about it. At the first meeting, we didn't take photos together, we talked a lot. It turned out that even our style of clothing is similar. It was funny. It turned out that Ilona is from Melitopol, a city near Mariupol. Now he is also under occupation by Russian troops.

Ilona was on vacation in Africa when the war broke out. Her parents called her and told her to go to distant relatives in Germany.

At the beginning we walked around the city center, Ilona showed me the old church in the city. Here are some highlights. There was an old bell in the courtyard of this church.

And then Ilona took me to a place called the Onion. She said there was an unusual beer there.
Now this is my favorite beer in Germany: dark beer with raspberry syrup and light beer with banana juice.

And then we walked around the city for hours and she showed me different unusual places. It was very interesting.
We walked until the last bus to Warstein. Then I had to go back.

Then we went to the showroom. Ilona, like me, loves museums, has been to various museums in Germany a lot, but she has not been to this exhibition hall.
I was surprised by 3D paintings.

At the end we thanked each other, it had been a long time since we had been so calm and interesting. She thanked me because for the first time she didn't want to check news sites, for the first time she didn't think about politics. And you know what? Me too.

It was wonderful. From that moment on, we went to different cities together every weekend. but I'll tell you about it next time.
