The Right LinkedIn JobSearch Strategy

in #linkedin8 months ago

33.33% 33.33% 33.33% approach to advanced job search as a comprehensive strategy that focuses on three key areas/variables to optimize chances/probability of finding job opportunities. Here's a summary of my approach:

  1. Profile Optimization (33.33%): This involves fine-tuning your LinkedIn profile, with a focus on title, about, experience, skills and company portfolio, to showcase who you are, your skills, experience, and achievements. It also includes improving your profile's visibility in search engine results to increase the likelihood of being discovered by potential employers.

  2. Network Expansion (33.33%): This aspect focuses on aggressively connecting with colleagues, recruiters, Headhunters, Talent and Hiring Managers in your industry. It involves targeted networking, engaging with their content, joining relevant groups, attending industry online events, and utilizing LinkedIn's advanced search to identify and connect with key professionals.

  3. LinkedIn Algorithm Training (33.33%): This part of your strategy concentrates on training the LinkedIn algorithm to better understand your interests and objectives. It entails engaging with published content via LinkedIn reactions (likes, comments, reposts), using relevant hashtags, sharing your own content, connecting with industry professionals, and participating in LinkedIn Learning courses.

This theory suggests that by dividing your efforts equally among these three areas, you create a well-rounded and effective job search strategy that increases your visibility, highlights your expertise, and fosters connections with the right people in your industry.

This approach recognizes the importance of not only having a strong online presence but also actively engaging with the professional community and leveraging the power of LinkedIn's algorithm to your advantage.

it sounds promising for job seekers

It is a path it must be taken. Airdrop jobs don't exists

MISSING STRATEGIES:👇
4️⃣. Effective use of LinkedIn Search Engine
5️⃣. Effective use of LinkedIn 💼 Jobs Tab
6️⃣. Effective use of new Bing/Copilot Engine
7️⃣. For the USA 🇺🇸 Job Market, Google indexes all Jobs

For Lower level /intermediate /technical Positions you can also use Indeed as second alternative to LinkedIn, but it is better to learn to create profiles at corporate sites.

For Australia 🇦🇺, Seek is the counterpart of indeed
