Hi beloved steemians!
I imagine that most of you know about the countdown for the announcement that MIT and Litecoin will do in 23 days, so I was wondering what could it be.
I'm not an expecialist but this article made me think that It can be posible that the new technology they will implement can be used to make smart contract on Litecoins Blockchain.

And this is the sentence I found Interesting:
"During his work on the transaction-boosting technology Lightning Network, which he has been working on more recently at MIT, he came up with a method of adding some smart contract functionality to bitcoin in a way that he believes could preserve both privacy and scalability."
If they can do it on Bitcoin it is posible to do it in Litecoin
