That was my reaction when I just read this. The Foundation Trilogy - THE Foundation Trilogy - is going to become a film. Wow.
The work that got the Hugo Award for "Best All-Time Series" back in 1966 is finally coming out of the "not filmable" part of the universe.
I am not sure if I should be delighted or frighted by this.
According to German heise. de it will be filmed in Ireland, being the biggest film project of the country ever (surprise lol), by Skydance Television (Altered Carbon).
The bad news is: it is an Apple production, so you will likely not get to watch it if you don't pay for AppleTV.
