Mid-January - still alive...

in #lockdown3 years ago

Another week down and it is starting to feel a little bit like Groundhog Day!
It is good for me in some ways because it keeps me to a routine but it is very much the same. At least being at work things would be different in terms of the activities would change each lesson pretty much so not always the same.

Walking once again has been a key part of my days - getting out for at least an hour each day which for me averages about 8km or so each day which is good.

Friday's walk was the best this week... early morning, so it was a bit foggy - but I took a drive up to Bradgate Park again.

I couldn't really see where I was going but it was a nice walk - very quiet and peaceful. I saw a curious fox when I was there - he looked as though he was stalking the deer nearby but he just looked and then continued past them...

I saw plenty of deer throughout my walk - even thought that I was a little lost at one point because I couldn't see anything through the fog 😂

Plenty of home workouts this week alongside my online live Body Combat sessions with my amazing participants. It is keeping me sane and social - but like I have said before, being live in the studio is so much better!

As with many people through lockdown - I'm sure a lot of you also turned to baking! So did I... this weekend I got back on the bandwagon and baked a simple vanilla sponge filled with raspberries, then decorated with raspberry jam and vanilla buttercream in the middle and the vanilla buttercream on the top.

Doesn't look the prettiest, but it does taste yummy.
Let's face it - not like I'm planning on running for Great British Bake Off any time soon 🤣

Here's to another week everyone...
Hopefully something more eventful will happen next week for me to update you on

Stay safe
