Let's get back to the subject of the love locks. And let's try to make some interpretation of this action. Not subjective. In my opinion, it is obvious. It can be seen quite clearly. Padlock. Lock. The key is even missing. I will not even be surprised if the performers of these actions throw the key somewhere - in a flowing river from above, for example. Well, yes, most of these padlocks are installed on bridges. That way, no one will be able to open these locks again, to break the spell.
But spell for what? Seriously, do you know what you're doing when you do these things?

Sometimes I wonder if the weight of the locks could bring a bridge down. I've seen bridges covered with them :)))

Yes, and I've also seen them uninstalled from bridges (the uninstallation of parts of the bridges themselves because of them), which is another reason not to do this. These padlocks could be seen as urban plague, as, in my opinion, pigeons, for example, are unjustifiably considered. 😃
Love pigeons. I guess this tradition is kind of manifestations of the fears people have. Locked forever. Such an illusion :P
My attitude towards pigeons is a bit conflicted.
Exactly. It is an expression of fear. That you must have something and that you must keep it at all costs. But this is not love. Fear is not love. The desire for possession - also.
