Specifically 1/4 inch thickness, it comes in multiple lengths and widths, generally 20 feet long and in widths of 3/4, 1, 1 1/4, 1 1/2, 2, 2 1/2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, and 12 inch widths. or 6.1 meters long and widths of 1.9, 2.5, 3.2, 3.8, 5.1, 6.4, 7.6, 10.2, 12.7, 15.2, 20.32, 25.4, and 30.5 centimeters.
Generally this is stocked in a hot rolled form, but can be brought in as a cold rolled given some lead time. Perhaps you need to make some bracing, or punch some holes in it and use for hinge or latch work. Furniture and art often use this thickness of material as well. Bend it, weld it, fasten it, lots of versatility to unlock here. What will you build?
