Running Report (30-04-22) + 5000HP Staked

I have not given a running report in forever. It isn't like I stopped running, but for some reason I just skipped on reporting. Luckily I have people like @toofasteddie that kept posting and making me realize why I reported in the first place - to motivate myself further and maybe a few others that may come across my post.

For some reason I have slowed down over the past month or so. I mean I literally cannot seem to get a fast run. Fast by my standards mean anything on a 5:30/km pace but these days my runs are between 5:50 and 6:00/km. I am not injured and haven't put on weight, so I guess I'll have to figure the underlying factors.

Today's run was smooth. Having planned quite a full day I sought to have a simple, relatively short run. The run was quite smooth on the asphalt surface and I more or less maintained the same tempo all through.

5k Milestone

Also, I noticed that I have finally hit the 5k milestone in staked Hive power. This is bittersweet for me, as I feel I should have been here years ago. Nonetheless, am here now and I hope for more growth.

Perhaps I'll do a more comprehensive article later but for now a big thank you to all those who take time to read my blog and support my work. People have respected my decision to privacy and have trusted me regardless on this platform, I honestly can only offer unconditional thanks.

I have been through some turbulent times personally and have stuck around regardless. We are in for the long haul and the Hive community has given me all that I currently can boast of as far as my crypto story goes.

You have done really well on Hive last moths, obviously you have good skills and ideas to share that pay off., my congratulations for the milestone achievement.
Regarding Running, don’t be so tough with yourself, the pace that you have now is as results of your running plan today. I’m sure you can quickly recover the normal as soon as you design a consistency plan and stick to it.
Keep on running!

Thanks for being an inspiration Eddie.

I really try not to bother about my pace these days, but am just surprised I can barely get going at top speed. I'll try and add a bit more variety in my running then, maybe introduce some fast paced workouts

You are here now, there's room for more growth and I see you achieving your goal, keep and it and congrats on hitting 5kHP.

Thank you Joe. Thanks for your support over the last couple of months

You are welcome and thanks to you as well 🙂

Congrats on your running accomplishments!
