I have access to a house that has a wind turbine and solar panels. The renewable energy sources power batteries in the house.
I plan on building a mining farm that is powered by these renewable energy sources. Total power output: 50-100kw.
I want to use the steam platform to run a little crowd fund, and pay dividends back to the people who invested. Every single person who upvotes the post will get dividends back based on their rank and it can be paid in SBD. Every penny raised from the upvotes will be used to buy mining equipment and the profits will be distributed amongst the people who upvoted.
The house is located in the UK and has room for maybe 50 gpu rigs in the room that I can use.
Up vote if you wish to be paid dividends. One rig costs £2k.
You're looking for a pretty substantial amount of money. You will not get that level of investment off of a single post. I would suggest you start up a series in which you describe in detail your plan and take feedback and suggestions from the community. That way you can build confidence in your plan which will draw the interest you need for the votes. I'll be following :)

If you do your research you'll find out that oil and natural gas are also renewable energy. It's good if we use correct terminology. Don't get me wrong, I'm supporter of wind and solar, but they are not as clean as we were told.
I entirely agree I was just using the agree'd terminology for most people. The whole point here is that there are no electricity costs which is 60-70% of most miners profits if they pay for the electric.
Investment in solar and wind = cost of electricity. Don't forget to count this in.
The solar panels and the turbine have already been paid for, this crowd fund is to buy the hardware, not to replenish funds spent buying the panels or the turbine.

How are you accounting for maintenance costs of the turbine and solar system? Are they being paid by mining revenue or some other source?
Another source, the equipment has another use in the future, this is for the time being. All profits will 100% go to the people who up vote. By the looks of things, the post won't make enough for even one rig, never mind filling the room. Either way, easy money for anyone who will give an up vote.
