Introducing a brand new Minnow Support Project and PALnet exclusive, @msp-creativebot.
This bots purpose in life is to breath fresh air into the creative content on SteemIt, to boldly vote where no user has voted before and to assist in providing exposure to our valuable creators.
PALnet and minnowsupport bots are,
The primary delegate for @centerlink is @ausbitbank.
@benjojo (90k sp) and @neoxian as the primary delegates to @minnowsupport.
And @aggroed has lovingly decided to shift his delegation from @minnowsupport to @msp-lovebot while simultaneously upping his delegation from 1.5 to 6k SP.
And the newest addition to the family @msp-creativebot, which is the brainchild of @sammosk and @creativesoul with delegation from @iamjustincscott, @isaria, @sammosk, @bulleth and the cumulative effort of the creative minnows in MSP/PALnet.
This is a moderator position project within the MSP community to take on more responsibility helping the community in exchange for a larger leadership role. It fills a unique role in the MSP/PALnet ecosystem to help provide better curation as I feel this is an important undertaking for the community and I wish to extend a helping hand to my fellow minnows by providing this service.
@aggroed has also offered that from 100 to 1000 sp delegated to any of the above bots will be matched by a lovebot subscription scaling up to 10% voting power from lovebot for a 1000 sp delegation to any of the above.
The reason for the birth of @msp-creativebot is that we want to support all minnows as they attempt to grow and we also want to use our collective powers to highlight minnows with exceptional talent to help them graduate into dolphinhood sooner.
And the automated approach is hands free vs the chatbot spamcannon approach that the minnowsupport bot has. Leaving more room for those creative hands to sculpt, draw, paint and write top quality content in your chosen fields of interest.
Here at MSP we want to see all minnows grow, but we have a particular interest in seeing the minnows that are willing to support their fellows grow that little bit faster and wish to curate their content to the top of the list.

This might sound like a newbie question.
Does that mean if I deligate 100 sp I'll get a 1% vote from the bot? I may not be reading that right.
The lovebot vote scaling tops out at 10% for 1000 sp delegated and I think starts at 5% judging by the votes I see on there. https://steemd.com/@msp-lovebot

hey @altcointrends, noticed you'd got the same 10SP delegation from minnowbooster as I'm trying out. Was just wondering if you'd noticed a big difference in curation rewards so far? Or is it too early to tell?

I am so glad this became a reality so fast - just the other day it was an idea! Giving original creativity more visibility means that we can all enjoy and experience these works. This is where I will be delegating in the future - because as the project grows it will help power the endeavors of so many forms of creative expression.
This is all so exciting. I am absolutely in awe at the power and support this community is generating.

You know what, I'm on steemit for about three weeks but I still can't wrap my mind arond my minnow support idea. Maybe I'm dumb or even dumber, but can someone explain me how it works. I would love to join something like that but have no clue how.

If you search under the #minnowsupport tag, there are plenty of current articles. Step one is get the Discord app, and then one of the articles should have a link for an invite code for the chats.

It's an amazing thing to be inspired, I can only thank PALnet and MSP for giving me that same gift.
Something we should all be thankful for, just the fact that there are so many people helping others is incredible. I hope most people are carrying this over into the real world too, where it is really needed.

I like it, and when I can afford it I'll consider it, but this kind of self-dealing internal mentalism is exactly why regulatory agencies WOULD investigate if there were significant investors in STEEM, and on the other hand it's going to contribute to a bottoming out of real world value. The STEEM in the reward pool is dependent on interest in mining it investing in it, and the more external interaction with the the value the quicker it's going to drop. I know this is just minnow support, but gaming it is going to be bad in the long term. Just a thought.

As far as I can tell, somewhere between 5,000 and 10,000 sp. Also 2,000 is minnow queen. Set goals that unlock further goals! Just keep swimming!

presently it is delegates of the bot only, and it will automatically vote on your creative posts. :)

I am still figuring out what the bots are all about... I mean I see them but I am not certain how to use them properly. Is there a post with a full description on what they are and step by step on how to use a bot? "A Bots for Dummies" guide for someone who isn't always paying attention to what these things are. I do go into discord every now and again but usually I am busy working on something or commenting on something in my feed. Are these bots only something I can access through discord?
Lovebot and/or Creativebot sound perfect for you then, they just roam about hunting for new posts from delegates which mean you are free to do other things.
will probs write up a post regarding exactly what you are after after current tasks are achieved.
The minnowsupport upvote bots are accessed through discord, the centerlink bot roams about looking for posts from teamaustralia members (iirc), and creativebot looks for original content from delegates to it personally vs lovebots seek all the delegates of all bots and upvote them.

I am thoroughly confused. Though, I think I would like to delegate this bot but I'm not entirely sure what that means. I just signed up for discord in order to join the chat which explains delegating bots but...I cannot seem to navigate worth a damn. So anything that you could do to help would be...uh....very helpful. (Monty Python reference)
Delegation means that you are essentially 'lending' your voting power to the bot, allowing it to vote more powerfully. The steem power is always in your ownership and you can cancel the delegation at any time if you are unhappy, think of it like a loan that you are in full control of in terms of how long it lasts etc.
