Things that come up here on steemit often is how to go about beeing a good steemer, there is bad ways to go about it like begging for votes or copy pasting stuff, like spamming unoriginal stuff to get votes, wich will in the end be flags. This is what i think and do, i look around steemit for stuff i like, when i find a blog i like, without asking for anything i freely give my upvote and i follow so i can see more of the things the author has, i dont mind if the author doesnt even look at my stuff.
But if they do look at my stuff and like it, decide to upvote and even follow, then im thankful, ofcourse its nice to get some steem, but when it comes to knowing how good my stuff is, i want people to upvote and follow cause they are intrested not because they just spam upvotes to get upvotes, i do think ive done it a couple of times, but we all have to start somewhere, but spamming copy paste comments is not my thing. I give first, then i hope it pays out.
