Happy Monday, Hive Community!
I honestly can’t figure out how time slips away so easily. If you’re using social media these days, you know exactly what I mean there’s just so much content constantly pulling your attention. Before you know it, hours (or even most of your day) are gone😓
But something’s changed for me recently, thanks to Hive.
Over the past two days, I’ve stayed away from mindless scrolling. Instead, I’ve been busy interacting with amazing people here on Hive, replying to the kind comments they left on my introduction post. And honestly? That feels like a good kind of different.
Mondays usually feel the same: navigating through traffic, getting to the office, tackling the pile of pending tasks left over from Friday, back to back meetings (planned and unplanned), and the usual flood of calls.
But here’s the thing, I actually feel energetic and motivated today😃
Why? Because I spent my weekend well. I didn’t waste it on autopilot. I spent quality time with family, fixed a few things around the house, and most importantly, joined this wonderful Hive community.
The interactions on my intro post made me feel truly welcomed. I received votes, comments, and warm wishes from people I’ve never met before. It was heartening.
Sure, I still have a lot to learn how the votes work, what all these resources mean, and how the ecosystem functions. The user interface can be a bit confusing for someone who’s just started. But the community? So far, it’s been incredibly supportive, respectful, and kind.
Maybe I’m going off-topic here, but I couldn’t stop myself from writing this. The excitement and energy I’m feeling is loud and clear. There’s a lot ahead to explore and I’m looking forward to it.
Big thanks to the Hive community for all the welcome wishes, tips, and ideas! It really means a lot and I’ll carry this support with me as I continue my journey here 👌🤝
