Back about 20 or 30 years ago In the west side of Buffalo New York, I created a shop that made T-shirts and buttons. My friend Fred and I would create logos and designs and put them on apparel for local bands. Names like The Beezzz and Talas were the mainstay of music in the 1980s and buttons were a great promotional item back then. Fred loved Disney and was more a collector of what was called pins, and over the years collected thousands of them. That was his passion and also creating t-shirts and he had some of the best silk screening equipment ( old School style).
As time went on and computers became more into our world, He slowly moved into a process called sublimation, using a computer printer. This would eliminate the process of burning a screen and applying ink directly to the cloth and making the imprint.

The time when by and I started to create buttons of 3 sizes 1" and created a lot of them for Dan Harper, the 2/3/4 size became a very popular size as I would get these from Badge a minute. For political campaigns, I would use the 3" size., and also created a very special pin for the number one group in Buffalo called Talas. It was then, after doing that I was called back into the music business, and a part called promotion. I was asked to go back to my roots of being a record promotion man and reunited with the Worlds greatest promotion man Pete Bennett, who was the promoter and later manager of all the Beatles, and Rolling Stones. and who was the man who booked the acts for the Super Bowl Events each year? Pete came to Buffalo? Niagara Falls to try to see if He could come up with a way to Kick Start the City.
He was well on his way to do this at the same time of writing His book about his life in a promotion. when He became Ill after making one last special promotion in Oregon, with Paul Petock at the helm of a talent search.
Then He left me with one very important lesson.
