There are a lot of smartphone apps out there that promise to pay you money for using them.
Most require that you watch advertising in exchange for money, and this requires that you constantly be hooked up to a decent wifi signal.
I have used, and made a decent amount of money from, apps like PerkTV and SlideJoy which require that you have access to wifi, and apps like Qriket, which only require wifi for the few minutes per day that you are using them.
But this app is different.
It doesn't require constant access to a wifi signal, which works out well for me when I travel.
You might be surprised to find that it is the free Wal-Mart app.
This app has a Savings Catcher section which allows you to scan or manually enter store receipts, and if any of the items on that receipt are found for a lower price in the area Wal-Mart will refund the money to a gift card sent to your email.
This app allows you to make up to $600 per year, per phone as long as you enter receipts that are less than a week old.
But if you are entering all of your own receipts then you really aren't making money.
The trick is to find or borrow other peoples receipts.
Asking friends or the people I am staying with has worked well for me. So has looking for discarded receipts in the parking lot of any Wal-Mart I happen to pass.
Granted I have only made $300 in the last year using my $16 phone, but if a person really hustled I'm sure they could max the payout on not just one phone but several.
Best of Luck fellow Steemians.
Would be nice if can exchange for cash :) Gd info, thx!
Any savings is a good savings, it doesn't really matter how you save your cash.
