Revenge of The Nerds - Part II

in #money7 years ago

There is no denying the Nerds created the Internet. Now thanks to the growth of cyberspace, our wired-world, developed largely by accident was invented by the Geeks and Nerds who have created personal fortunes to the tune of Billions and Billions of dollars. Well there’s no accident in the next biggest innovation since the WWW this time. In-fact, the “Revenge of The Nerds” are about to do It again. This time with the creation of Electronic Money, called CryptoCurrency. With the most famous and original being Bitcoin.

Since inception of Bitcoin in the early part of 2009, there now totals over 700 new variations of Cryptocurrencies flooding the market. As in the early days of Dot.com Boom/Bust, there will be a few winners that stand above them all - with the majority (losers) falling off the charts. And what does that mean to rest of us non-technical Nerds, There will be winners and losers among st us as well. Determining the Major players this time – is closely held knowledge and our next Billionaires with most likely fall among st the Geeks again.

Already, Millionaires have been created since the early part of inception of Bitcoin in 2008. Original Coin – Bitcoin was worth pennies, today we see that Currency trading at $2,800 US with a two-for-one split creating a new/second Currency called Bitcoin Cash (Price still volatile approx $280 per coin). So One Bitcoin Yesterday, is now worth One Bitcoin + One Bitcoin Cash. Unfortunately – Not all Bitcoin holders will see this two-for-one split, because certain Crypto-Exchanges are not recognizing transition. In-turn – their customers will not receive the second coin (Bitcoin Cash). Only time will tell what the future holds for the innovator (Bitcoin) of this new emerging market called Cryptocurrency.

So not to fail – there are many additional newly created currencies waiting to take it places as the leader, with many favoring the Ethereum coin. Other leading currencies are Dash, Zcash, Ripple, Gnosis and many others.

So with the evolution of money changing from Paper/Plastic to electronic numbers. I believe we are going to see an entire change/revamp of how we transact our financial exchanges. And the determining factor who decides this outcome – I ‘m betting on the Nerds again!
