Shopify: How to turn up Conversion Rates

in #money7 years ago

Dear Steemians,

For the year i've been into ecommerce now, one of the most elaborate task is to get your Conversion Rates up.
When i first started the conversion rate was sometimes as low as <1%, even for Add to Cart.

Traffic is pretty useless if it's not converting. That's the reason you should look into my targeting tips for FB Ads:

Stats from today:

What to do to increase Converison Rates

  1. The problem lies most likely on your homepage or your price > Check your homepage for Design, Text (grammar) - it should all look professional, get inspiration from bigger competitors
  2. Add scarcity to your page by adding a countdown app like: Timer Plus
  3. Show Sales Pop Ups- even when no sales occured yet, this earns trust. You can use Consistent Cart App for this
  4. Do Cart Recovery E-Mails > As the people that abadoned carts, were interested in buying they should be easier to get them into buying and they will NOT be mad for writing them a mail once in a while.
  5. Add Customer Reviews to your product page > Wheter you post facebook comments or use the Shopify App to enable Customer Reviews, this is something essential.
