Good morning traders! Let's break the backbone of the week with a bang and see what's rolling around the globe.

Bitcoin Latina airdrop

What the hell is a Bitcoin Latina? It's something new to me as well. Upon a deeper dig, it's an Ethreum network fork. Yet it's named the Bitcoin Latina? Their Whitepaper explains more on this - apparently the ethreum network is more suitable for their use, but the spirit of Bitcoin matches their vision more.:

In the spirit of the original Bitcoin, our focus is on trustless, immutable, decentralized,
peer-to-peer networks of connected computing power; rewarded with a cryptocurrency for
work such as mining, writing code, referring others, community moderation, or otherwise
improving the network.
Apparently Bitcoin Latina goal is to provide blockchain toolsets, that suit best the needs of Latin America, support it's growth and enable the people there to gain control.

Now everybody with a Bitshares account can get part of their ecosystem and get an airdrop of 2 Bitcoin Latinas. Huh, Ethereum, Bitcoin and Bitshares all in one mix? Doesn't matter - go get them while they're young.

Visit the Bitcoin Latina site and claim your coins on their website: https://bitcoinlatina.org/

NB! I am not affiliated with them in any way, i'm just sharing the info.

JP Morgan has released a detailed 71-page publication "Decrypting Cryptocurrencies: Technology, Applications and Challenges".

I haven't read the full report myself, but scanning various finance portals, the report accepts blockchain and cryptocurrencies as the future, acknowledges multiple uses amongst which the most important ones are decentralization, fast cross-border payments, and peer-to-peer networks.

The report is out just in time when we are seeing more and more hedge fund inflows into crypto assets. Possible already soon in the near future, as regulations make their way to cryptos, said hedge funds will start diversifying their portfolios over cryptos more and more.

Bitcoin Cash has now an experimental Android wallet that focuses on the ease of use. One of the most prominent features is to transfer BCH from one user to another via using the built-in NFC functionality. This feature is just like handing some-one the cash, hence the name of the app - "Handcash".

Feel free to try this one out, but remember - the app itself is still in beta, but transferring cryptos to your friend or as payment to someone close to you sounds neat when you don't have to mess around with the crazy wallet addresses right? Just keep it separate from your main funds until the beta tag is gone.

Thanks for pointing this one out, bitcoin.com.

Hi @furious-one, both @forexbrokr and @bulleth suggested I should check out your blog for crypto info. I'm looking forward to connecting with you guys as I make the transition from forex trading to crypto currencies. I have still quite a bit to learn in this space, and you guys look to be on the ball here on steemit. Connecting with good people is a great way to learn. I've resteemed this post for future reference. Thank you.

Hi, opting from forex to cryptos might be the best move as here we don't have yet the level of price manipulation that we have on indices and forex. Still, while i prefer cryptos, i still trade forex, to keep wits and mind sharp, it's a sharks game there, which will prepare us for the other markets well.

Thanks @furious-one, yes I plan to be trading forex for quite awhile yet. It's hard for me to imagine trading, without the manipulation :).

I just wonder if how long it is before JP Morgan release their own cryptocurrency & blockchain?

Haha, that would be somehting :)

would wish that i receive a bitcoin

Great post thanks for this 👍⚡
