Moondrop Robin

People glazed it too much about Moondrop Robin. It's popular, but it's still a relatively unremarkable earphone that got boosted to hell by gacha fandom, from a company infamous for their poor quality of TWS firmware and phone app. The sound quality, in my opinion, is overstated and more tied to the association with Moondrop being an audio-first company, but it's not like other more tech-focused name brands are necessarily putting out relevantly worse sounding earphones. Obviously, you better not blind buy anything without having double-checked — then the issue does not subsist.

Good ANC — I wouldn't expect it to be any better than other established tech companies — as well as decent mic. Tech-first companies like Bose and Sony lead the pack, not Moondrop, and the same can be said with app and firmware quality.

And the thing is extremely bulky and co-branded with a gacha game, which most likely hiked the price more than what it could be had it been a normal run product.

Personally, I use WF-1000XM4 with a slightly modified EQ, but I would not recommend it due to widespread battery defect problems. I have no issues replacing the batteries in them, but you can't expect other people to do that, so it's a no-go. But I haven't looked into the TWS market for a while.

If I had to blurt out something off the cuff, I would look into Galaxy Buds FE. Personally, I had a pair of 1st gen Galaxy Buds and found the bud design with silicone ear wing very comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised it returned.

JBL is also worth looking into, I would say. As a general pointer, their earphones end up being resold in like-new conditions for a fraction of the price, and the tuning is closely related to the Harman work — it's generally good.
