The Moroccan team is ranked 46th in the latest monthly ranking of the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA), published Thursday.
With a total of 1,418 points, the Atlas Lions are in 5th position at the African level, behind Tunisia, Senegal, DR Congo and Ghana. At the Arab level, Morocco is second only to Tunisia and ahead of Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
At the top of the rankings, the most recent champions of the French world grabbed the orders, ahead respectively Belgium and Brazil. The teammates of Luka Modric, finalists of the Russian World Cup have climbed to the 4th position. However, the biggest loser in this race was indeed Germany who was relegated to 15th place.
