After being new in tertiary education, our batch now in College of Engineering is in 5th year. Reaching this final year of our choosen course is giving us a little bit of pressure as it is the last year of being an Engineering student and in this last year, the discussions about our field is getting complicated especially on schedules where we have to comply all of the given tasks in just one time. We have to balance and do time management.
This picture was taken last year. We had our Company Tour at Minebea Mitsumi, Cebu.
It was an amazing experience. Not just because we have known their product, but we also have seen how does it made. Sadly, I haven't took a picture of the company product and their environment as it is prohibited (every company and manufacturing rule). Yet, we have learned a lot of stuff and met new people.
As an Industrial Engineering, our main area of study is to create engineering processes and systems that improve quality and productivity.
When people ask me what I study at university, I normally say "Engineering". However, when I look at the big picture, I have covered way more than that in just a year from knowing what is the main subject of an Industrial Engineering up to encompassing methodical or quantitative approach to optimizing how a process, system, or organization operates. But it is studying such a board range, that I found my passion for management. It is this passion that lead me to take it further and apply my learnings to my future job.
Through the years, we built so many bonds. We work together as a team. We all act like brothers and sisters and our mentors are the parents.
To all the times that we are having fun, there is also an opposite situation. But through all hardships, this will be all worth it.
In our batch, we set goals, make plans and we aim high!
