Long Term Promising Crypto Projects (Part - 1)

We all know that Bitcoin is the very first application of Blockchain Technology and like every new technology it had its own flaws in the beginning which limited it usage worldwide. All these imperfections associated with Bitcoin gave many others anopportunity to sink their teeth into Blockchain, by improving and offering additional features. As of now 2018, there are a lot of promising blockchain projects out there which hold a lot of potential to evolve as global leaders in the future. Therefore in this article, I have thought of putting forward the projects which as far as I think has a very good potential, not from a speculation perspective but technology and use-case perspective. So let's get started, shall we? 😉

GIFTO is a decentralized universal gifting protocol, which makes sending and receiving virtual gifts easy and secure. By universal I mean it will easily integrate on existing social media and content creation platforms like Youtube, facebook etc.. just like a share or like button.This way content creators can get gaid directly from their fans in the form of virtual gifts, which they can either send directly or cash in. Some of the interesting point about gifto you may want to know are.

It is launched by the same group who is behind Asia's largest broadcasting app/platform Uplive, which has over 20 million users and $100 million of projected revenue in 2017 (correct me if I am wrong) and most of us have already heard of I guess 😋. Very Soon Uplive will be integrating Gifto in place of their current gifting mechanism.
It is the first project incubated by the world's largest exchange Binance.

TRON is a blockchain based decentralized ecosystem for users to freely publish, store and own their data. Tron is undoubtedly one of the most interesting project out there despite of many criticism it has received. GIFTO uses TRON as blockchain platform.

Security is one of the main challenges of Blockchain today. One bug or loophole in your smart contract code could cost you millions of dollar which we all have seen what happened in the Ethereum DAO hack. Hackers are constantly trying to find exploits in contracts so that they can benefit from them. This has resulted in an increase in the demand for security-related projects. Quantstamp is one such blockchain project concentrating on security. They have launched a web product where developers can perform a cost-effective security audit of their smart contracts. I would like to point out one more thing here and that is don't take its web app to be the Quantstamp protocol, this is a common misconception many have. The web-based auditing app is just and use-case demonstration of the what the platform can achieve and is just the tip of the iceberg.

One interesting point to note that this project is backed by Y - Combinator which you can search on google has a very good track record of investing in good projects in the past.

Steem is a blockchain-based rewards platform for publishers to monetize content and grow community. Currently there are a lot of apps running on steem blockchain and steemit.com is the first app to be launched as we all know. The native digital asset of STEEM blockchain is SMT(Smart Media Tokens). Steemit is a blogging platform with it's own SMT called STEEM.
