Your studio is like an aladdin's cave of musical devices, so many keyboards and wires and knobs to turn...and a super cute dog with the expression of "you disturbed my sleeping to photograph what exactly?"
One hell of a intro post! Loved reading the whole thing, and especially drooled at the studio pictures! That looks like a dream environment to produce awesome mucke! :P Also really cool projects you are part of, spotlight on the artist sounds like an awesome endeavour! Sadly, I do not play guitar, won't be able to either, I started playing bass a few years back.
I had an accident then, my nerve, tendons & artery were severed in my right hand, it's functional but has its limits.
Luckily I am ambidextrous & can do a lot of things with my left hand as well, a lefty that was forced to be a righty ya see.
Playing the guitar though out of reach, I tried & gave up, now learning to play piano, have to for my harmonics class ;)
