And dude. As I do... I'm still looking into giants...
This morning I found an older youtube video (4 years ago) of a couple exploring the city of Gath, where the whole David and Goliath thing went down... and they've recently been uncovering ruins that show proof of giants living there. Backing up the evidence in Biblical texts saying 4 other giants were also born in the city and lived there.
Totally crazy.
Oh! And more cover up!
Also, it's found in most old translations that Goliath was about 8 & 1/2 feet tall , but in later ones it was changed to just over 6 feet because the translators thought it was an error (because men aren't that tall) BUT! Other descriptions line up with him being pretty huge like his armour weighing 125 pounds and such.
This also makes me feel bad for the giants. Aside from the horror stories told by Native tribes about the giants being just awful, which was why they took them out...
What if! It wasn't like that at all? What if they were simply a dying race who were mistreated because they were different? And history is told by the winners. Wouldn't be so great to pass along stories to your grandchildren that your tribe was a bunch of jerks who tortured and killed relatively innocents souls who'd done little more than be different.
I ain't no SJW, but I do feel like evidence could lead this.
But I also see the likely possibility of them just eating people. π

The whole cover up part is what's amazing to me. And like you said there seems to be an agenda to rewrite history.
They probably were pressured and that could cause anyone to act nasty so maybe you're right.
I'll try to tune in Sunday again..
