My take on one of my favourite classics. It is insane to think that Richard D. James aka Aphex Twin made this track on super simple hardware and recorded it to tape between the age of 14 and 21! But since we know the album came out in '92 he could not have been any older.

This project began with me messing with my synth and getting a sound that reminded me of this track. I wanted to see how well I could do in designing sounds with much more sophisticated gear 25 years later. I still don't think I surpassed his version but given that all sounds are remade with zero samples I find the overall result more than acceptable:

How do you like it, and am I a straight out blasphemer to do this? I honestly think that the spirit of Aphex Twin is that nothing is to be too holy to mess with.
