@theplunge is a project that is run under the @dse brand so it would be unfair if we did not mention we might be a touch biased to their cause, though still a great one.

Musicians already have a hard enough time in the real world with the costs of creating, perfecting and releasing content being so expensive, don't even get started on touring. With @theplunge we aim to provide musicians with a helping hand in a web based format. The Covid-Sessions are just the mere start to helping out musicians with HIVE. The creative presence has picked up from the start of Steemit to now with HIVE. Though majority of the wealth is still with only tech based operations and only given to tech based operations. We aim to change that in the future by creating new initiatives to empower musicians via competitions, dapps and votes as we power-up our profile. We will also be constantly trying to increase the presence of musicians on HIVE by personally talking to musicians that we get into contact with and introducing them to the platform. We already brought you artists like @straatkat and @dewallen, the latest addition being @alexmarcel from Zanzibar who plays for the band Stonetown Rockerz, hopefully the rest of the band will also join soon!
