#ulog (Acoustic Night)🎸 : Bonding moment with my friends

in #music7 years ago (edited)

Good day everyone ❗

Last night, me and my co-workers had so much fun jamming together. During our break, we decided to do some acoustic session to relieve our stress 😀.

We're doing this ever since we knew that we had such similar hobby in playing guitar and love for music. In fact, we already had a band name (hahaha) called "Truly human".That band name came out of nowhere when we saw our one member wearing shirt saying #TrulyHuman. We loved the idea, so we decided to make it our band name for fun ☺️.

What kind of songs we played?

Literally, we do not have a playlist in our sleeves and to be honest, we're doing this only for fun for us to strengthen our bond with each other. Whatever songs that comes up to our mind, we play it. That's the kind of playlist we had.

We played and sang happily that we do not care if some people watch and stare us. We made our working place into a musical place 😂. We don't care because we enjoyed it.

Our bonding lasted for almost an hour. We really had so much fun that we didn't even recognized the time.

Here are the sample songs that we played last night.

This song is entitled "Back to me". This is the 2nd album by Cueshé (filipino band) released in 2006.

This song is entitled "Elesi" by Rivermaya (filipino band) released in 1997.

After that experience, me and my friends felt closer and more connected with each other. There is something about music that really makes people connected and helps us come together as a community.

We may grow old in the near future but the memories that we shared together will surely remain strong.

The strong bond of friendship is not always a balanced equation; friendship is not always about giving and taking in equal shares. Instead, friendship is grounded in a feeling that you know exactly who will be there for you when you need something, no matter what or when.

Yours truly,
@thecolaguy

One of the judges before, dunno if she is still is @soundlegion, a composer/producer from California.
A Steemian album was produced last year in July.

There's few things as fun as a few friends (or strangers) grabbing their instruments, getting together, and connecting with each other in the music they create.
