7-Day Wayback Music Challenge - Wild Child

Last day of this challenge
Song: Wild Child

from German hardrock band Scorpions

Thank you @backinblackdevil for nominating!

As last song for this challenge I chose this awesome tune from Scorpions which was released on their album Pure Instinct in 1996. Somehow an untypical tune for Scorpions with the bagpipes in the beginning and in the ending. But damn it has everything a great rock song needs: catchy sing along chorus, constant beat with enough changes, nice guitar solo and power!
This was the first album I found from them in the CD collection of my father and maybe the first song I listened - not sure if "Wind of Change" came to my ears before or after. Played this around 1.000 times on the drums as a little kid. It was the time I played to music not with listening it over earphones, but i played the music loud with a loud boom box in the background. Loud enough to still hear it when playing drums. So I guess although the album is not that famous, my neighbors know all the lyrics 😁
Scorpions are (together with other bands I already posted) the basis of my musical taste and evolution. So, thanks to this band and thanks again to my father and his CD collection for guiding me this way. Maybe someday there's a third little bird who will dig its way through our CD collection and find some jewels :)

Thank you for reading and stay tuned!

Thank you for this post - I like the Scorpions too. My favorite is "Lust Or Love". I like your story (with your father) very much, cause I remeber listening to the LP "Crazy World" together with my daughter ;-)

And a third little bird will find you - nice idea!

Also both great songs :) Nice to read you are/were able to share your music with your daughter - must be a great feeling :)
