I was so happy to see you on my post today and I realized I hadn't been over here in days! I am happy to see you taking care (belatedly) of the needed surgery, but, alarmed that this hospital has already been hit. :(

Your ability to have moment of normal touches my heart. Your soul is so strong and the will to make everything as normal as possible just makes me smile. The park, the flowers, stopping at the café and sitting and enjoying it, if only for a moment.

Turning off the heat is inhumane. This winter has been so cold and so unreliable, tonight will get very cold for me here, despite the hot temperatures for weeks.
