Dear young Nigerian, please find a vocation or career before you clock 30.
Ensure you are called something which explains a stable stream of income.
It gets harder when you clock 30 and you aren't able to define what exactly you are.
Are you called an accountant, a driver, a plumber, a cleaner, a gardener, a graphic designer, a web services professional, a digital marketing expert, a lawyer, an electrician, an auto mechanic, a trader ...
What are you called?
What are you working to be called?
There is no such profession as hustling.
It leads to a life of unstable financial income.
Hustlers have 1million today and zero tomorrow.
They are very unstable. Their families have surplus today and hungry tomorrow.
Please learn a skill, specialise in something, focus on something, become an expert in it, be sought, be called the guru, raise more experts and live a life of stable financial earnings.
The AC man who fixes 2 ACs a day and earns 12k daily is more stable than the hustler who sells one house in a year and makes 300k agency fees.
I see too many hustlers, too few experts. More and more young people becoming hustlers.
The hustlers spend a lifetime dreaming of striking a big deal; they keep begging for money from the stable earners and failing to see that they need to learn a skill and become stable.
Lets take a few minutes to ask ourselves today: Am I a stable earner or a hustler?
