I'm glad all was not lost!
It's funny how we can sense it as a failure but after all it was just the circumstances were not right and you just used common sense and took the warning that this was more than discomfort and may actually cause you harm.
I know it must be disappointing but stay strong, I'm sure there will be a next time and hopefully not to far in the distance!
