Spring Is Coming
I went to a completely new park yesterday. The temperature was a very pleasant 12ºC so it was nice to just sit on a bench and watch the beautiful birds walk about picking at some of the shoots on the grass.
The flowers are also starting to come out in their numbers in many colours. I was taking photos of the flowers when an elderly lady asked if I knew what flowers they were. I knew one of them but not the others so I got a bit of a quick lesson in Horticulture lol. It was quite a nice conversation actually. It's amazing how much random people know about random things. Human beings are walking encyclopedias really.
It's raining today and many of my plans were cancelled, as they were supposed to happen outdoors. I don't know why I didn't look at the forecast, but I tend not to believe those anymore since they're so often wrong.

I love, love, love the way the flowers pop out in each photo. Your post makes me want to get out and take a walk and "smell the roses" in life, which is I think, something we should all be doing on a regular basis. Cheers! :)
Thank you for this awesome comment. I know what you mean about smelling flowers. I do it sometimes and people look at me like I'm crazy haha.
