It’s starting to feel more like Spring here in Las Vegas then the winter season we are supposedly in. The weather was so perfect yesterday I didn’t need to wear long sleeves nor a sweater.
Me and @jsmilez decided to hit another hiking trail!
We travelled about 3.2 miles on this trail (to and fro). Compared to some of the other hiking trails we have ventured too this one didn’t have much elevation but nonetheless it was still exciting.
About a mile into the hike we encountered much narrower trails as we began traveling parts that were less traveled. The sandy and rock landscape began to turn into masses of vegetation the closer we got to the bottom of the mountain.
At one point I felt like I went from walking in a desert terrain to a woody one.
But then about a mile into it we stumbled upon a small creek. The sound of the water was so soothing and shocking to see considering that it has barely rained 5 times within the last 6 months.
We reached what appeared to be the farthest point we could go without making our own trail. Las Vegas is full of hiking trails, mountains and canyons. This is about the 5th one we have been too and each one is unique. No trail is alike!
We are always looking for other nature friendly couples and friends to enjoy our adventures with so if you are ever in the Vegas area and looking for a good time in nature, hit us up and let’s make it do what it do baby lol!
great post and pics!
Thanks boo 😘
