Today we visited a pretty interesting concept. A Bare Foot Park.
It was a 4 km (2.5 miles for you nonmetrics) walk through a hilly forested area where they made all kinds of different surfaces to walk on and through.
Logs, pebbles, barkshales, pineconepaths. Some real nasty footbed killers right there if you placed your foot wrong.
But also stairs of watersteps, deep muddy afairs coating your legs black up to your knees. They were also colder than the winterking’s breath because it’s still early spring here so water isn’t as warmed up as it will be later in the season.
I can recommend it though to anyone that thoroughly enjoys a walk in a forest. I would call this forestwalk+.
I wonder if there are more places like this.
