Interesting article about the state of coastal restoration in Louisiana especially relating to where the money is going to come from. I've been yelling about this for years, they are spending too much money too fast, on projects that require more and more money over time. I'm all for the fresh water diversions, that once built continue to build land year after year for little to no costs.

They need to set up a fund that pays them interest every year, and only spend the interest.
I like that idea, but they're not financial people running things
