Interesting article about a fresh water sediment diversion that looks like it is going to get final approval and actually be built in the coming years. Too bad it will take so long to actually be built but it is good to see that the process is starting to move along. The wetlands of the area really needs this diversion.....

Yeah, finally starting to happen. :)

Looks like it could change that area a lot, support a lot more wildlife.

The difference between habitat with a fresh water diversion and without is shocking!

I know it is a lot of money, but it's more of a one time cost than the dredging projects I've read about.

That the way I look at it too, I just don't understand how they can spend so much money....
