With so many things happening around the world right now, i wanted to focus on climate change and the effects it's effects on our planet.
What is Climate Change?
Before we start with this list, i wanted to take a moment and explain what exactly is Climate Change?
Well by definition:
Climate Change is a change of global weather patterns caused by the increase use of fossil fuels.
Scientist first noticed Climate Change in the beginning of the 19th Century, where they identified the effects of natural Greenhouse. But in the late 19th century, scientists proposed that human emission of greenhouse gases could change the climate.
1. The Kyoto Protocol
The Kyoto Protocol is basically a treaty that limits emission of greenhouse gases to all of the state parties. It was adopted on 1997 in Kyoto, Japan, and entered into force in 2005. 192 Parties are currently signed and the total cost of this treaty reaches almost a trillion. But it's been very successful, The Kyoto Protocol parties have reduced CO2 emission by 12% between 1990 and 2012. Currently there are only a few countries that didn't sign the treaty, one of them is the US which they contribute 14% of the CO2 Emission.
2. Extreme Heat caused by Climate Change
Extreme Heat is also a effect of Climate Change, it affects a lot of people for example: During the heat waves 2003 in Europe, over 70,000 Death were reported. This rise in temperature also increases cardiovascular, respiratory diseases.
3. Natural Disasters
Now Climate Change also can increase the occurrences of Natural Disasters like: Tornadoes, Volcanoes, Floods etc etc. Natural Disasters have tripled since the 1960s, causing more than 60,000 Deaths every year.
4. Diseases on the Rise
Diseases transmitted by insects, snails or cold blooded animals, have gotten a major boost from the climate. Diseases like malaria have been strongly influenced by the climate. Malaria kills almost half a million people every year and the changes in the climate lengthen their transmission season and also their geographic range.
5. A Grim Future if We don't Change.
Climate change is very real and it's happening all around the world, if we don't change our ways of living and switch to green technology rather than depend on fossil fuel and other harmful gases, Climate Change is excepted to cause 250,000 additional deaths between 2030 and 2050. Cause by Extreme Heat, Disease and Natural Disasters.

Temps are at their coolest since Al Gore won the nobel prize in 2007:

Where did you pull out that definition?
Climate:
Climate change:
Basiclly climate change is just that...a change in the climate. It was there long before fossil fuels were used. Climate changes. Weather changes. :) Yes, we can be worried about it. Wont help one bit tho...weather will still change. :)
Yes, indeed. But if you read a little bit lower you would see this:
I don't think we're talking about the same thing here. What i'm talking about is anthropogenic climate A.K.A Global Warming, which is caused by human activity. So Climate Change has two definitions, the climate change you've mentioned and the anthropogenic climate which is caused by human activity such as burning fossil fuel. And yes worrying about won't help, but certainly acknowledging the problem and trying to fix it would help a lot.
I apologize if my post wasn't that clear, i'm still a noob when it comes to writing. But thanks for your comment, i appreciate it.
