Who would've thought that having my own kitchen-garden was THAT easy??
This is my very first experience planting or cropping anything, i have to admit it was thanks to @juliangelis who was so enthusiastic about this, that she convinced me, so here I am posting this entry for @critic-on 's CONTEST #1.
It is an amazing initiative, people like me can learn a lot of useful tips to help our wallets, help the environment, eat healthier and it is actually a lot of fun! Thank you guys, and I mean it.
As I said, I've never done anything like this before, I only followed the steps that the internet told me on how to plant tomatoes at home. So, let us gut started.
The very first step is to dry out the seeds, I left them under the sun for a couple of days and the proceed to pour some prepared soil in a small pot, then...
I opened holes for the seeds, and placed them. Covered the little live makers with the same soil, watered the planted seeds and place the pot to rest under the sun light and... wait.
Because It we are totally beginners. we looked up for all things that can be grown home, and we bought many of them like tomato, parsley, cilantro, carrots, chives, celery, etc. I had a lot of fun learning how to grow each of them.
To make sure we succeed in our new experience, we decided to grow different types of plants(just in case my tomatoes don't make it.
Chives were really surprising!. Their process is very different. instead of seeds, what we need are the roots. Cut off the white part of the plant (the part with little roots), wash it with plenty of water then just put it in a bowl or glass with clean water and wait until the magic occurs.
They grow incredibly fast! there is only one day between the first and second picture. And that would do it for the firs phase of this contest. I am really looking forward to keep track of my little guys and this contest.
######Again, thank you @critic-on and see in next cycle.
