Dance and Dance Classes

At first glance, dancing might not seem all that challenging. After all, how challenging can it be to move with the beat for a few minutes? When my kids want to have a dance party I have to join in and I usually end up being tired after. they can go on for a long time and never get tired.

While there are some easy dance options, such as dancing with your kids, waltz and tango, some fast-paced styles will train your whole body and give your cardiovascular system a good workout. Options include salsa, bachata, swing, hip-hop, and Zumba (which is technically a mix of aerobics and various dance styles).

As an added benefit, dancing is a great way to improve your coordination and balance, as well as burn plenty of calories. As you age it important to still move fast at times. Keep those fast twich muscles moving still.

I burn a lot of calories every time i get on the dance floor.
