๐ขThe centre of a mandala represents :๐ข
The centre of a mandala is a point that is interpreted as the starting point, the beginning of contemplation and devotion to the divine.
It symbolises the starting point of all human expression.
It is the symbol of the end of the umbilical cord: the navel. The gateway to the mystery of life. Of birth.
The centre that connects us to the origin...
The represents the door, the place from where I amFrom there, the point is surrounded by lines and geometric patterns that symbolise the universe, encompassed by the outer circle that represents the cyclical nature of life.
โญThe circle represents :โญ
The circle refers to the mother's womb. To maternal security. It delimits the extent of my personal space. It represents my territory, my own world, my inner universe, fundamentally reserved, personalised and by the delimitation of its outline which makes it my private property.
๐งThe square represents:๐ง
The foundation, materialism, stability and security.
It brings stability to the circle and often refers to the framework of life, to external and internal rules, to the law, to walls that provide security.
The tracing of the square in a circle fixes it because it generates square angles which are as many corners where to settle, stop, take refuge and huddle.

The female spirit

The circular nature of a wheel functions as an artistic representation of a perfect universe. The eight spokes represent the eight paths of Buddhism, a summary of the practices that lead to liberation and rebirth.

A sacred symbol in Buddhist culture, the symmetry of a lotus represents balance. Just as a lotus rises from the bottom of the water into the light, so does a human reaching out for spiritual awakening and enlightenment.
