This is plywood not a canvas but I agree. In the past I made most my pieces on about 51 x 51 cm plywood. after that I tried various size canvas. Now I am working on 76 x 50cm plywood and it feels big enough. Still trying to tame this monster will be interesting.😛
I just worry because I think that such huge and expensive piece of plywood deserves some very special piece... I would imagine that finding a buyer for a piece this size will be even harder. So I need to create something I would like for my own wall just in case.
Yeah I didn't mean canvas cloth, but something to draw on. You're doing pyrography right? I can only imagine how long that will take tho I haven't tried that.
Yeah I think bigger canvases are always harder to store and to find a buyer for it so I agree you should paint something you'll love to keep.
Yes most of the time I use pyrography. Not sure if I will use it one this huge piece because: 1. pyrography takes me way more time than just painting and 2. It will probably be very hard to reach all the distant corners of the piece.
