I have fought the urge to stay home, not try , and not dare to suck. You don't fail at the chances you don't take, right? So I recently entered a writing contest for my writers guild and shared pretty much my first short story. I didn't win the prize, but I feel like just showing up was a win for me. Since then I am gaining confidence. I have done some free writes and a couple of blogs on steemit and I am honing my craft.
